Extra tutoring at Magnolia Science AcademyAt first, my son was quite hesitant about attending Magnolia Science Academy when I had told him that he was not going to continue 6th grade at his old school. He was sad at first and asked “why?”. “You will be challenged”, I replied. I told him that I would be able to see actual grades instead of number scale grades, and I would be able to monitor his progress, missing assignments and behavior. Moreover, I’ve heard good stories from other parents as to how well their children did in all sense academically and as an individual.

Some of the positive experiences that I have observed as a parent in this school is that, the administration is very engaged in the progress of students. I am amazed that they are very friendly and that they know every student and most of the parents by name. That is something that I have never encountered with any school before. It’s nice to feel welcomed in my son’s school. I really like that they have the extra tutoring which helps all students improve and gives them the motivation to do better. Also the Coolsis is a great tool for parents to be on top of their kids’ progress.

For that, I thank all MSA staff members.

Magnolia is our second homeHow great it is to share our thoughts and opinions about our children and their school. The feeling of community in the Magnolia is the one I like the most.

I want to give a quick shout out to all the teachers and staff members at MSA. My God! How great are you guys! I feel like Magnolia is our second home!

We love the school’s diversity; our kids have a chance to explore different cultures at a very young age. I have no doubt that’s going to make them stand out, one step ahead of their peers. Those Gulen charter schools rumors around the web about immigrant teachers and ulterior motives? Let them blab away! I’m proud of our teachers and thankful for their dedicated hard work!

Last year, my son had a chance to go on a Europe trip with his teacher. This is a middle school student going out to see the world, opening his eyes and widening his scope. I know, I wasn’t going to be able to make that happen for him. You should’ve seen the way he came back and retraced their steps of the trip. Even I learned a bit of history from him!

We will begin by saying that we believe things happen for reason, we were so tired for the last two years trying to helped our son to have a good time and learned as much as he could at school, but very frustrated when you don’t have the help that you need from the teachers, all we wanted was a fair shot for our son. I knew public school was losing him with the big size classes, and I started looking for a new school without any luck.

Pacific Technology School testimonialOne day on my mail was an envelope with a name that I never seeing before, I almost put it in the trash can, but for some reason that I don’t know I put it on the side and opened later. I was really surprised when I saw it that was an information letter for a new charter school in Orange County, right away a called to take all the information that I needed, and enroll our son.

This is our first year at the Pacific Technology School, and we can tell how happy our son is, we see such a big improvement. Now he has good grades, he understood his projects and enjoys his new fried. He look forward to go to school every day, and every day he always have something new to tell us about how good the teacher and friends are. We are truly grateful for the dedicated Principal and teachers. It is a plus all the great after school programs that they have available for the kids. My son is becoming an independent student with loads of opportunities.

Everyone we have met at Pacific Technology School seems to go to the extra mile to help you. We are lucky to found this small dedicated school and to be a part of it.
